Congressman Vindman is inviting elementary school students across Virginia’s Seventh District to join the office’s inaugural Seven Books for VA-07 Reading Challenge!
This year’s theme, “Caring for the Community,” encourages students to read books that highlight the importance of supporting, uplifting, and protecting those around us. Stories may also focus on caring for the environment, friendship, or family support. Submit your completed reading logs here.
How the Challenge Works
- Read seven books that fit the theme between now and the deadline.
- Track your progress using the printable reading log found below.
- Submit your completed log online by the deadline to earn a Letter of Congressional Recognition.
Important Dates
- Deadline for submissions: Friday, December 19, 2025, by 5:00 PM ET
- Letters of recognition will be sent after submissions are reviewed.
Eligibility
This challenge is open to elementary school students who live in or attend school in Virginia’s Seventh Congressional District (Va-07).
