The VA-07 Congressional Youth Mentorship Program will give participating youth the opportunity to receive mentorship from Congressman Vindman, community leaders, public servants, and private sector professionals. Throughout the program, students meet as a cohort once a month from October – May for engaging conversations, hands-on experiences, community service opportunities, and mentorship focused on public service and civic engagement. Students will gain firsthand insight into federal, state and local processes, leadership skills, and the many ways they can make a difference in their communities. The program will conclude in a Mock Congress or Town Hall.

This program is open to all high school juniors and seniors in Virginia’s Seventh District.

The application will open Monday, September 7, 2026, and must be submitted by 11:59 PM on Monday, September 28, 2026. Virtual interviews will be held on the first week of October and selected students will be informed the following week.
