ICYMI: Vindman Hosts Second Annual Job & Resource Fair in Stafford

Washington, D.C. — On Thursday, June 18, Congressman Eugene Vindman (Va.-07) hosted a Job and Resource Fair in Stafford County at North Stafford High School. The event brought together nearly 40 hiring employers and resource providers and drew more than 250 job seekers from across Virginia’s Seventh District.

“Connecting Virginians with good-paying jobs and valuable community resources is one of the most meaningful ways we can strengthen our local economy and support working families,” said Vindman. “I was proud to bring together nearly 40 employers and resource providers so hundreds of job seekers could take advantage of these opportunities. My office will continue working to connect Virginians with the jobs, resources, and support they need to thrive.”

The Town of Dumfries Police Department was among the many employers who participated in the fair, recruiting new talent and connecting directly with local residents.

The job fair connected contractors, veterans, and local job seekers with agencies, resources, and private-sector employers. In addition to on-site hiring opportunities, attendees had access to free professional development services including:

  • Résumé review workshops
  • Professional headshots

Participating employers and agencies represented a wide range of fields — including government, education, law enforcement, technology, health, and transportation. Local chambers of commerce, nonprofits, and resource organizations were also on hand to provide career guidance and support.
