DUMFRIES, Va. — This week, Congressman Eugene Vindman (Va.-07) participated in National Night Out in Dumfries, Virginia, joining the Dumfries Police Department, local leaders, and neighbors for an evening focused on building stronger community-police partnerships and promoting public safety.
“National Night Out reminds us how important trust and collaboration are to keeping our communities safe and connected,” said Vindman. “Public safety is a team effort — and what I got to take part in on Tuesday night reflects that. I’m grateful to the brave law enforcement officers, first responders, and community partners for serving Virginians with integrity and dedication every day.”
National Night Out, held annually in communities across the country, is a celebration of the vital relationship between law enforcement and the neighborhoods they serve.
Vindman’s district team also joined National Night Out events in Madison County, Prince William County, Spotsylvania County, and King George County — connecting with local residents, first responders, and community leaders.
