Washington, D.C. — Congressman Eugene Vindman (Va.-07) today announced that his office has now returned more than $6 million in federal casework funds to residents of Virginia’s Seventh District, solving more than 2,100 constituent cases.
Since taking office in January 2025, Team Vindman has closed more than 2,100 constituent cases, attended more than 220 events, and proudly returned a total of over $6 million to Virginians.
“I’m proud to announce that my dedicated constituent services team has returned more than $6 million to folks across the Seventh District,” said Vindman. “Virginians deserve a government that works for them — and that starts with holding federal agencies accountable to their commitments. My office is committed to cutting through red tape. If you’re experiencing an issue with an agency or program, don’t hesitate to reach out to my team for assistance!”
Casework dollars are secured and returned by fighting for fair treatment for those having issues with a federal agency, program, or benefit. Vindman’s office assists Virginians with many casework concerns — including backlogged Social Security checks, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits, Medicare benefits, and delayed Internal Revenue Service (IRS) refunds.
Below are recent constituent success stories submitted by Seventh District residents who worked with Vindman’s office:

“After 15 months of trying to solve an IRS issue to no avail, it was a short 2 months from the time I contacted Rep. Vindman’s office until the problem was solved. There are no sufficient words to express our gratitude for the help with our case.” — Benita, Prince William
“I was able to receive my money from OPM after waiting a year. If it wasn’t for Rep. Vindman’s office, this would not have gotten done.” — Saayeedah, Stafford
