Vindman Once Again Presses for Action, Demands Hegseth, Waltz Resign Over Signalgate

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Eugene Vindman (Va.-07) is once again demanding the resignation of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz over his role in the Signalgate scandal. It has been 18 days since the story broke — 18 days without an investigation, without transparency, and without accountability.

Despite the fact that his actions compromised secure military communications and endangered the lives of American service members, Secretary Hegseth remains in his position. This ongoing failure to act is a stunning breach of public trust and a dangerous dereliction of duty.

“Those involved in Signalgate recklessly endangered the lives of American pilots. That should outrage every single member of Congress,” said Vindman. “The fact that there has been no Congressional investigation is an abomination. Pete Hegseth and Mike Waltz must resign immediately, and Congress must launch a full investigation without delay.

Vindman continued, “The stakes are too high for silence. The safety of our military personnel and the credibility of our national defense are on the line. The American people deserve answers. 👊🇺🇸🔥”
