Vindman Meets with Constituents Across All Corners of Seventh District, Listens to Hundreds Struggling with Rising Cost of Living

WASHINGTON — Congressman Eugene Vindman (Va.-07) spent last week in every corner of the Seventh District from Prince William County to Fredericksburg to Culpeper County listening to neighbors who are tired of extreme Republicans in Washington and encouraged by Vindman’s common-sense approach to legislating.

“My team and I are fighting hard to deliver real results across the Seventh District. With over 109 District events attended, 377 casework inquiries closed, and over 52 bills cosponsored, we are putting in the work to do just that,” said Vindman. “I will continue to hold the line when I must and work across the aisle when I can.”

Vindman had the opportunity to visit Eugene Triplett’s fifth-generation Black owned family farm in Culpeper County. Triplett is one of many Virginia farmers whose plans for this growing season were upended by the elimination of two federal programs that help provide locally grown foods to local schools and food banks.

He shared that his work is not political, it’s about providing food for local school kids that otherwise might not get a healthy meal. It’s about supporting Church attendees who don’t have to ask for a basket of food, they get handed one without a second thought. And it’s about supporting programs that get local food to local families. As the only Virginian on the Agriculture Committee, Vindman will always fight for farmers like Triplett. More photos here

Vindman was pleased to have more than 400 residents of the Seventh District who took the time to attend our team’s town hall in Culpeper. Vindman was grateful to discuss the issues that are top of mind for the Virginians he serves — like the pressing need to lower costs, protect our federal workers and contractors, and continue to stand with our allies in Ukraine.

Residents were fired up, applauding Vindman for his work pushing back on the extreme and chaotic agenda coming from this Administration and extreme Washington Republicans. Vindman received a standing ovation after answering more than two hours of questions. While Republicans are running scared from hosting town halls, Vindman and our team are proud to listen to constituents.

Vindman welcomed nearly 300 constituents of the Seventh District to the grand opening of our team’s second District office in Fredericksburg. Folks who attended this event were able to meet Team Vindman, learn more about the services our office provides, and answer policy questions.

At this event, Vindman was pleased to speak with the mother of a young servicemember who flew the recent mission to Yemen and was put at risk because of Secretary Hegseth’s incompetence with Signalgate. Vindman continues to call for Hegseth to resign.

Vindman was delighted to join colleague Representative Suhas Subrymanyam (Va.-10) to discuss the first 100 days in office, navigating chaos from extreme Washington Republicans, and the importance of commonsense legislation to best support our small business across Northern Virginia.
